These cover this website, booking a slot, and your account. The work itself is governed by a separate contract. Last updated 2 September 2026.

Building work is carried out under its own written terms, and on larger projects under a JCT contract setting out scope, timeline and responsibilities. Nothing on this page replaces or overrides those.

You will be given the terms that apply to your job in writing, with your quote, before any work starts.
a slot
Survey visits
A survey visit is a free 45-minute appointment to look at the job and price it. There is no charge and no obligation on either side. Booking one is a request, not a confirmed appointment — it is held for you while Heer Services confirms or declines it, and you are emailed either way.
Booking work directly
For the smaller services, the slot you book is the work itself. Published rates are a starting point: materials are charged on at cost, and if the job turns out to be materially different from what was described, we will tell you before carrying on rather than after.
Quotes and published rates
The rates on this site are published in good faith and are not a quote. A quote is given in writing after the job has been seen. Where a rate is shown as “from” a figure, that is the starting point for the simplest version of that work.
Changing or cancelling
- You can cancel or move a booking yourself up to 24 hours before it starts, from your booking page or your account.
- Inside 24 hours, please ring 07343 014 235. The online cancel button is switched off at that point on purpose, so that a cancellation that late is actually spoken about rather than missed.
- We may need to move a booking too — weather, an emergency on another job, or a delivery that does not arrive. If that happens you will be contacted directly, not just emailed.
Access
Someone over 18 needs to be at the property for a survey visit, and we need to be able to get to the areas being looked at or worked on.
& lists
Your account
Accounts are free and are signed into with a one-time link sent to your email address — there is no password. Keep access to that mailbox secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time from My details.
The product list
The product list is a shared shopping list, not a shop. You cannot buy anything through this site, no payment is taken, and no order is placed with a retailer.
- Prices shown are indicative retail prices read from the retailer’s own page on the day the link was added. Each one is stamped with that date. They are not a quote and they are not guaranteed — the retailer can change a price at any time.
- Product names, images and prices belong to the retailers. Images are shown from the retailer’s own servers, with the retailer named beside them.
- A link that cannot be read automatically is not a problem: type the name and price and the item works the same way.
- Please only paste links to publicly visible product pages. Lists are capped at 40 items.

Accuracy
We keep the rates, availability and area information on this site as accurate as we can. Availability is live and reflects the days actually opened. Planning information on the area pages is general background, not advice about your property — check anything that matters with the relevant council.
Content
The text, design and images on this site belong to Heer Services LTD unless stated otherwise. Please do not copy them for another builder’s website.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
